Relive your meet-cute memories with all-time favorites “Torpe” and “Just A Smile” along with new songs from her 2021 album “Scenes from Inside”. The door charge costs Php300 for walk-ins and Php250 for early bird registrants until September 1. Both come with a free drink.
The intimate musical performance with Barbie Almabis is part of Cinema ‘76 Café’s diverse lineup of entertainment events that include Quiz Night, Comedy Night, and Rockaoke. Barbie Almalbis is the stage name of Yvette Barbra Hontiveros Almalbis-Honasan, a Filipino singer-songwriter born on August 26, 1977.
Her self-titled compilation album, Barbie: The Singles, was released in 2005. She was once the lead singer of the band Hungry Young Poets and Barbie’s Cradle. She released Parade, her first solo album, in 2006. Her vocals and guitar playing have a somewhat peculiar but appealing vocal style.
