Tesla has officially priced the Model 3 and Model Y in the Philippines, marking the exciting arrival of Elon Musk’s electric vehicles and Supercharger network in the country.
The first indoor Supercharger station has opened at Uptown Mall in BGC, Taguig, offering a glimpse of the future of driving. Tesla provides a sustainable alternative to traditional gasoline-powered cars, and charging a Tesla is much more eco-friendly.
For example, it costs about P19 per kilowatt-hour to charge a Tesla Model 3, roughly PHP 1,140 for a full charge. While there’s currently just one station, Tesla has promised that more will be coming to the Philippines soon.
As of now, the Tesla showroom at Uptown Parade is up and running, showcasing the Model 3 and Model Y. If you’re interested, visit Tesla’s official website to explore the options and choose from the rear-wheel drive (RWD), long-range, and performance variants of these models.
The entry-level Tesla Model 3 RWD starts at PHP 2,109,000, offering a range of 513 km. If you need more space, the Model Y RWD begins at PHP 2,369,000. Both models are now available for order and will likely ship from Tesla’s Gigafactory in Shanghai.
Tesla also offers customization options for these EVs, so the price may vary depending on the color (interior and exterior), wheel design, and autopilot features you choose. To secure your order, you’ll need to place a non-refundable deposit of PHP 15,000.
It’s worth noting that all Teslas come with basic autopilot, which includes features like autosteer and traffic-aware cruise control. If you want the full self-driving capability, you can add PHP 394,000 to your Model 3 RWD purchase. Lastly, the company offers installment options, and we’ll update the article with full payment details as soon as they’re available.
