RCBC and GCash Partner to Boost Access to Inclusive Loans

Empowering Filipinos, One Loan at a Time

Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), a premier digital challenger bank, and GCash, the top finance super app, are partnering to make loans more accessible and inclusive for Filipinos in low-income, rural, and remote areas. Their collaboration aims to reach Filipinos who struggle to access fair lending terms due to traditional credit scoring methods.

RCBC will launch Pasado Loans, a 24/7 loan product requiring no collateral, using the Pasado Loan Engine to assess applicants’ creditworthiness. Filipinos can apply via the Pasado Loan portal, partner merchants, or digital channels.

GCash will facilitate applications directly through the GCash app, offering a seamless and convenient experience for users on the go. Loan amounts range from Php 30,000 to Php 500,000, with the Pasado Decision Engine providing instant approval results. Once approved, the loan will be disbursed to the applicant’s RCBC Diskartech account, with payments managed via auto-debit from the same account.
