Starting in February, Filipinos in the United Kingdom, Spain, other European Union countries, and the United States can securely send funds directly to GCash accounts in the Philippines through the BCRemit app or website. Overseas Filipinos (OFs) can also conveniently add cash to their GCash accounts at any time via BCRemit.

Originally based in the UK, BCRemit now serves customers in Spain, the EU, and the US. Since 2015, it has provided OFs with fast, secure, and affordable money transfer services through its app, website, and 24/7 call center.

“We at BCRemit are thrilled about our partnership with GCash,” said BCRemit founder Oliver Calma. “This collaboration gives our customers in the UK, Spain, the EU, and the US direct access to GCash, aligning with our mission to use technology to improve financial inclusion for Filipino migrant workers and their families by providing fast, affordable, and convenient remittance services.”

Paul Albano, General Manager of GCash International, added, “At GCash, we’re committed to making financial services accessible to all Filipinos, no matter where they are. This partnership with BCRemit strengthens our ability to offer secure and affordable remittance solutions, allowing OFs to easily support their families back home.”

As GCash’s new international remittance and cash-in partner, BCRemit enhances the convenience of its services as it continues to expand its reach globally. BCRemit offers low fees starting at GBP/USD/EUR 2.99, along with high exchange rates for both new and existing customers, with 24/7 customer service support.

To start sending money via GCash, download the BCRemit app from Google Play or the Apple App Store, or visit bcremit.com to sign up and start sending funds.

Currently, GCash boasts over 5.2 million partner QR merchants and social sellers, with 81% of Filipinos owning a GCash account. The all-in-one e-wallet allows users to top up mobile credits, pay bills, send and receive money, shop from partners, and access savings, credit, loans, insurance, and more.
